Cookie Policy
Effective date: 26 September 2026.
1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Stockily ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://www.stockily.io or use Stockily, our subscription software-as-a-service platform (an ERP for cash-on-delivery e-commerce). It describes what these technologies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and the choices you have.
Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
By continuing to use Stockily after setting your preferences in our consent banner, you agree to the use of cookies as described here. You can change your choices at any time using the methods set out in Section 6.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or application stores on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make services work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the service.
We also use "similar technologies" such as local storage and session storage. Where this policy refers to "cookies", it includes these similar technologies unless we say otherwise.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another organization, such as our payment processor). They can also be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain for a set period or until you delete them.
3. Essential cookies (always on)
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for Stockily to function and to deliver the service you have asked for. They cannot be switched off through our consent banner because the service would not work properly without them. They do not require your consent under most privacy laws.
We use one essential cookie: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language. Signing in does not set a cookie: the app keeps your session and your preferences (theme, the shop you last opened, dismissed notices) in your browser's local storage and session storage, which stay on your device and are not sent to other sites. The choice you make in the consent banner is also stored in local storage so that we can respect it on your next visit.
Referral and connection cookies. If you arrive at our website through a partner's referral link, we set two cookies, pcv_ref and pcv_click, for 90 days, so that a sign-up can be credited to that partner. When a merchant connects a YouCan store, a short-lived cookie (yc_oauth, 10 minutes) protects the connection flow. Neither is used for advertising. If you block cookies or local storage in your browser, parts of the platform may not work as intended.
4. Optional analytics cookies (opt-in only)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors and users interact with Stockily so that we can measure usage, diagnose problems, and improve the product. For example, they help us understand which features are used and where users encounter difficulty.
These analytics cookies are strictly optional. They load only after you actively opt in through our consent banner. If you do not opt in, no analytics cookies are set, and the platform continues to work normally using only the essential cookies described above.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, after which we stop loading analytics cookies. See Section 6 for how to change your choice.
5. No advertising or marketing cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, to track you across other websites for advertising purposes, or to sell your information to advertisers.
The only optional cookies we use are the analytics cookies described in Section 4, and they are used solely to help us understand and improve the service.
6. How to change your consent
You can change your cookie choices at any time. To update your preferences for optional cookies, re-open the consent banner from within Stockily and select or deselect analytics cookies. Your updated choice is recorded and applied going forward.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies. The exact steps vary by browser, so please refer to your browser's help pages. Please note that if you block essential cookies through your browser, parts of Stockily may not function correctly.
Withdrawing consent or deleting cookies does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you did so.
7. Cookies set by Stripe during checkout
When card payments are enabled, we use Stripe to process them through Stripe's hosted Checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted pages and never touch Stockily's servers.
During checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies on your device to enable the payment to function and to help detect and prevent fraud. These cookies are controlled by Stripe, not by us, and are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie practices.
For more information about how Stripe uses cookies and processes data, please see Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
8. Cookie list by category
The table below summarizes the cookies we use, grouped by category.
ESSENTIAL (always on, no consent required) — NEXT_LOCALE: stores your language and locale preference. Signing in and your preferences use local storage, not cookies; the cookie-consent choice is stored in local storage too.
REFERRAL AND CONNECTION — pcv_ref, pcv_click: partner referral, 90 days, set only when you arrive through a partner link. yc_oauth: protects a YouCan store connection, 10 minutes. ANALYTICS (optional, set only after you opt in via the consent banner) — Usage analytics: helps us understand how Stockily is used so we can measure and improve the service. No analytics cookies are set unless you opt in.
ADVERTISING / MARKETING — None. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
THIRD-PARTY — Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie during its bot check on the sign-up form and on storefront order forms. Stripe sets its own cookies during hosted checkout when card payments are enabled, governed by Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will take appropriate steps to inform you, such as updating the date below or notifying you through the service.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
