Account deletion
Effective date: 26 September 2026.
Who this page is for
This page explains how to delete your Stockily account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to every Stockily account: merchants who own a company on Stockily, and staff members who were invited into a company by its owner. Stockily is available at https://www.stockily.io.
How to request deletion
In the app: sign in, open Settings, then the Account tab, and choose Delete account. The screen shows exactly what the deletion covers for your type of account, asks you to confirm, and records the request immediately. It then shows that the request has been received.
By e-mail: write to contact@stockily.io from the e-mail address of the account you want deleted. We act only on requests sent from the account's own address, so that we can be sure the request is yours. We do not accept deletion requests made on someone else's behalf, and this page has no form that can be used without signing in.
What happens next
A member of the Stockily team processes every request. Deletion is completed within 30 days of the request. Until then you can keep using your account. If you change your mind, write to contact@stockily.io from the same address before the deletion is carried out.
What is deleted
Staff account. We delete your login (e-mail address and password), your name and role, your access to every company and shop you were a member of, and your personal settings. Business records you created while working for a merchant — orders you confirmed, calls you logged, stock you scanned — belong to that merchant's company and stay with it, attributed to a deactivated account rather than to you.
Owner account. Deleting an owner's account deletes the whole company: all of its shops, products, orders and customer records, storefront pages, team roles and staff access, wallets and ledgers, and connected integrations. Staff members lose access at the same time. If you want the company to continue without you, write to contact@stockily.io first so that ownership can be transferred to another team member before your account is deleted.
What is retained, and why
Some records are kept after deletion, for as long as the law and our obligations require and only for those purposes: subscription and payment records (plan changes, payment references and invoices), because tax and accounting rules require them; security and audit logs of the actions taken in the account, because they are needed to investigate fraud, abuse and disputes; and the record of the deletion request itself. Retained records are not used for anything else and are deleted when their retention period ends.
Data about a merchant's customers
If you are a merchant, the names, phone numbers and addresses of your own customers are your data: you decide whether to keep, export or delete them, and deleting your company deletes them with everything else. If you are a customer of a merchant that uses Stockily and want your data removed, contact that merchant. Stockily processes that data on the merchant's behalf and assists the merchant with such requests.
